This latest album, Dead End Opening (98-08), features a diverse collection of songs and instrumental tracks by composer and song-writer N. R. Whitaker; an eclectic mix of dance beats, swirling keyboards, guitars, pianos, cellos, glockenspiels, and everything in-between.

Composed and recorded between 1998 and 2008 and remixed in 2022, the album takes the listener on a unique sonic and emotional journey through the confusions and bewilderment of late-90s Britain through to a place of quiet acceptance and optimism.

Featuring some previously uploaded tracks, and a selection of previously unheard material, this album is as varied as it is personal.
