N. R. Whitaker’s original composition Timeless Imperfections was recorded in 2024, although originally composed in 1993. The piece creates a feeling of timelessness, combining long sustained notes and musical fragments with sections that use highly irregular time signatures. The piece is a metaphor for life’s journey – a relentless seeking after peace, rest and the eternal.
