Lindy Newns has been shortlisted for several playwriting awards and poetry compositions and has won the Fresher prize for poetry. Her poetry and flash fiction has appeared in various anthologies, including Poems for Grenfell Tower. She makes regular appearances at open mic nights around Manchester and is an experienced writing workshop leader, regularly running poetry and flash fiction workshops.
This performance was part of the ‘Peace in Our Time?’ DreamSpace Evening and we’re delighted that Lindy is a regular DreamSpace performer.
