Melanie Neads (aka Melanie Rees) is an award-winning Salford-based poet and playwright and winner of the City Life Best of Manchester play award. She is also a trained special needs and behaviour teacher. This video from the Seeds of Hope Creative Day 2023 features a couple of Mel’s humorous and thought-provoking poems: ‘Andrea was a Philosopher’ and ‘Ducklings’.
