Industrial Landscapes is an audio-visual exploration of the industrial heartland of 1980s Manchester and the surrounding areas. Alan Astley’s (largely black and white) photography perfectly documents the era, capturing something of the bleak atmosphere of 1980s industrial Manchester while simultaneously offering glimmers of hope. Adam Walker’s electronica music perfectly complements the photography, helping transport the viewer back to a very different era.
